Multiverse is a global organisation that’s been on our radar for some time for the great work they do, so we were delighted when they approached us to deliver copywriting training to their current cohort of apprentices.
They’re “training the next generation of leaders”, providing high-quality, professional apprenticeship programmes that combine work, training and community. Over 50% of Multiverse apprentices are from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, 53% are women, and a third come from the UK’s most deprived postcodes.
As part of the programme, the apprentices are asked to write regular blogs about their experiences, to be published on Multiverse’s intranet. To help them improve their skills, we were approached to deliver online blog-writing training to 18 members of their current cohort.
The one-hour webinar was designed to perfectly match their needs and current skill levels. We presented top tips on choosing a good topic, knowing your audience, writing a brilliant headline, structuring a blog for readability, and a handful of general writing tips. We also looked at how to proof and edit your own work, how to use AI to generate ideas, and how to write in your own authentic voice. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
Following the training, each apprentice submitted a blog for us to review and provide feedback on. We were impressed with the standard of the writing and the range of topics covered, and were able to provide each writer with constructive feedback on how to further improve their writing.
If you’d like us to develop and deliver bespoke copywriting training based on your specific needs, get in touch.
“We’ve been really pleased with the training session and the feedback you provided, and would love to work with you again as we onboard more cohorts in the future.”
