Multiverse is a global organisation that’s “training the next generation of leaders”, providing high-quality, professional apprenticeship programmes that combine work, training and community. They were looking for an experienced B2B copywriter to deliver copywriting training to 18 members of their current cohort of apprentices.
As part of the programme, the apprentices are asked to write regular blogs about their experiences, to be published on Multiverse’s intranet. The copywriting training needed to focus on helping them write the best articles possible.
My one-hour online training was designed to match their needs and current skill levels. I showed them how to choose a good topic and write a great headline, write with their intended audience in mind, and how to structure their blog for readability. We also looked at how to proof and edit your own work, how and when to use AI, and how to write in their authentic voice. The session ended with an interactive Q&A.
Following the training, each apprentice submitted a blog for me to review and provide feedback on. I was impressed with the standard of the writing and the range of topics covered, and gave each writer constructive feedback on how to further improve their writing.
The following year, I was invited back to run the same training for a new cohort.
