Meet Olivia Dunn

I’m an experienced brand copywriting specialist, strategist and consultant with over 20 years of marketing and writing experience under my belt. I work from my office in a boatyard on the Tamar in Cornwall, and yes I am just saying that mainly to gloat, but I really love it. The kettle is always on!

 

I set up Profound Copywriting in late 2021  to help brands of all ages, stages and sectors communicate using better, simpler words. I write web copy, articles, whitepapers, press releases, biographies, case studies, proposals… the whole shebang… for brands big and small.

 

I spent the previous decade in-house at two management consultancies in the higher education, charity and nonprofit sectors. I led their internal marketing and also worked with clients on high-level and often multi-million-pound fundraising campaign communications.

 

Words run in my blood. My dad is a retired journalist and copywriter, my mum’s an ex-teacher and award-winning poet, two of my sisters run Siblinc – a successful fashion product description agency, and my other sister is a bilingual voiceover artist.

 

Also an accomplished fiddle player, I’m the author of ‘How to Market Your Music on a Budget‘ – available as an ebook or paperback via Amazon.

 

I’m a nature lover and forager, living in Cornwall on the banks of the River Tamar with my lovely husband, daughter and Cassie the cavapoo.
